GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR:
WASHINGTON, D.C: Rappers, pastors, poets and authors appealed on July 16 to tens of thousands of mostly young evangelicals gathered around the Washington Monument. People streamed into prayer tents, asking volunteers for prayer to “reset” their lives, their families, and country. They got on their knees by the thousands, appealing to God to end racism. (IFA)
EGYPT: The Internet is an extremely effective means of impacting Egyptians. Pray for several high-profile evangelists, former Muslims with websites, who are causing many to turn to Christ with their powerful testimonies and arguments for the gospel. (Operation World)
WORLD: ‘Church’ is happening more and more outside buildings. New forms of faith community and experience are leading churches to marketplace ministries, open fields, and more. Pray for the presence of a church which will disciple its members in every neighborhood, near enough for anyone to cycle to it. (Assist News Service)
PLEASE PRAY THIS WEEK FOR:
FRANCE: “The attack on Nice is so terrible, filled with fear. The enemy wants us to stop praying for Europe.” Rather, pray that the peoples of Europe will awaken spiritually, coming back to the God of their fathers, back to Jesus Christ with all their hearts. (International Prayer Connect)
TURKEY: An attempted military coup has subsided, but fervent prayer is requested over the next few days. Pray that the purposes of God will be worked out in and through the continuing crisis. (International Turkey Network)
USA: Call on the Lord to control the content and outcomes of both national political party conventions. ”…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16b).
PHOENIX, AZ: Christian Emergency Network (CEN) is calling all Christians to prayer and to supporting the community in building bridges between local law enforcement and the community. Pray also for CEN in activating its chaplaincy network in the wake of the shooting of three police officers. Ask justice for two suspects who remain at large. (ANS)
WORLD: “Let’s please pray that the Lord will expose and break up the darkness and corruption going on in our governments and nations. Agree in prayer according to Matthew 18:18 for the binding of powers of darkness,” and salvation of their leaders. (John Robb)

DEN GRACIAS AL SEÑOR POR:
WASHINGTON, D.C.: Raperos y pastores, poetas y autores urgieron este 16 de Julio a decenas de miles de jóvenes en su mayoría evangélicos a reunirse alrededor del monumento a Washington. La gente se movilizó a tiendas de campaña para orar, a los voluntarios se les pidió oraciones para “reiniciar” sus vidas, sus familias y su país. Miles estuvieron de rodillas, clamando a Dios que termine el racismo. (IFA)
EGIPTO: El Internet es un medio sumamente efectivo para impactar egipcios. Oren por varios evangelistas de alto perfil, ex musulmanes con sitios web, que están haciendo que muchos vuelvan a Cristo a través de su poderoso testimonio y argumento a favor del Evangelio. (Operación Mundo)
EL MUNDO: ‘La Iglesia’ se está formando cada vez más fuera de edificios. Nuevas formas de comunidad de fe y experiencia han llevado a la iglesia a ministrar en mercados, campos abiertos, y mucho más. Oren por presencia de la iglesia lo suficientemente cerca de ellos y que discipule a los miembros en cada uno de los barrios. (Servicio de Asistencia de Noticias)
ORE LAS PROXIMAS SEMANAS POR:
FRANCIA: “El ataque a Niza fue tan terrible, trajo mucho miedo. El enemigo quiere que dejemos de orar por Europa.” Más bien, oren para que los pueblos de Europa despierten espiritualmente, vuelvan al Dios de sus padres, que vengan a Jesucristo con todo su corazón. (Oración Internacional Conexión)
TURQUÍA: El intento de golpe de estado se contuvo, pero se ha pedido oración por los próximos días. Oren para que los propósitos de Dios se cumplan en medio de la continua crisis. (Red Internacional de Turquía)
EE.UU.: Ore al Señor para que siga el control de lo que se expresa y lo que vendrá de las Convenciones nacionales de los partidos políticos. “…La oración eficaz del justo puede mucho” (Santiago 5: 16b).
PHOENIX, AZ: La Red Cristiana de Emergencia (CEN) hace un llamado a todos los cristianos a orar y apoyar a la comunidad para que edifiquen puentes entre la policía local y la comunidad. Oren también que el CEN active su red de capellanía ahora que ocurrieron los disparos a tres agentes de policía. Pida por justicia para los dos sospechosos que siguen escapados. (ANS)
EL MUNDO: “Por favor oren para que el Señor exponga y quiebre la oscuridad y corrupción que hay en nuestros gobiernos y naciones. Acuerde orar como dice Mateo 18:18 atando los poderes de las tinieblas” y la salvación de sus líderes. (John Robb)
