World Partners staff Steve and Sheila Harrigan have been faithfully serving the international community in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for many years. Along with their team of regular volunteers, the Harrigans are demonstrating the love of Jesus through a variety of services including homework clubs, citizenship training, a bicycle club called Spoke’n Word, English language support, a legal clinic, and boys’ and girls’ clubs.
As we move into 2022, the Harrigans are looking for help with two special projects that will support these ministries. The first is the renovation of a trailer into a mobile Kids Club outreach facility. The second project is clearing off-road bike trails in the acreage behind Fellowship Missionary Church this spring for their Spoke’n Word ministry.
Volunteers are needed for both projects. Those with specific skills like carpentry, mechanics, and electrical are welcome, as are those with the important skill of being a willing worker! The Harrigans will also be leading two- and three-day mission trips in the local community where volunteers can help serve on either these special projects or their normal weekly ministries.
This short video will give a glimpse of what the Harrigans’ ministry looks like and how you can be involved.
