Tegenu Negi has recently been accepted as a World Partners missionary. He travels to and from northeast Africa, serving as a liaison and facilitator to discipleship leaders in the region.

Tegenu has been working with World Partners leaders informally for over ten years and became known to World Partners through his late father, Magerssa, who was a ministry partner to World Partners for many years.

Tegenu states, “God will guide us and provide us a road map. I have so many things in my heart and want to reach out to northeast Africa and continue building on relationships that my father started.”

Tegenu grew up in Ethiopia and moved to the United States as a young man, where he became a naturalized citizen and met his wife, Meti. They have two sons and live in Seattle, Washington.

World Partners is excited to have Tegenu as part of our team!
