Level One

PL121: Old Testament Survey

Tuition: $200
eProf: Dr. Allen Tyndall
Thursdays, 8:00pm Eastern
Start Date: September 5, 2019

How is the Bible like an onion? To find out, join us in studying the literature, historical background, geography and significance of the books of the Old Testament. When you learn to bridge the gap from original meaning to the contemporary significance of God’s revelation of Himself, you’ll discover that the Bible is not primarily about history, but about God. In lively class discussion, answers are challenged as students learn to live out Proverbs 27:17.

PL271: Fundamentals of Church Leadership
Tuition: $200
eProf: John Oelze
Mondays, 8:00pm Eastern
Start Date: September 9, 2019

This course explores the principles of Christian leadership that create the underpinnings of every successful local church.  Students examine leadership principles from a Biblical basis and learn to apply those principles to specific local church situations so that they become adept at exercising active leadership. One student said of this course, “The textbook knowledge came alive by applying it to ministry. After every chat session, I was so pumped I wanted to go out (at 11:00pm) and change the world right on the spot!”

Level Two

NEW COURSE
PL691: Everyday Disciplemaking

Tuition: $200
eProf: Dr. Tim Roehl
Mondays, 8:00pm Eastern
Start Date: September 2, 2019

This course will equip students with a Scriptural, practical, and reproducible strategy for disciplemaking personally, in community, and as a church. Dr. Tim Roehl is Founder and President of the Fit & Flourish Network, and “Itinerant Multiplier,” with 40 years of ministry experience. With his wife Shirley, Tim has served as an urban restart pastor, law enforcement chaplain, suburban church planter, denominational leader, missionary, author, coach, and trainer with leaders from over 75 nations and 75 organizations.

PL331: Church Administration
Tuition: $200
eProf: Dr. Don Williams
Tuesdays, 8:00pm Eastern
Start Date: September 17, 2019

Administration is not simply managing nickles and noses. Administration is the stewardship of relationships- a leader’s relationship with the people they shepherd, the financial and physical resources entrusted to them, and the laws of the community and culture in which they minister. This course will introduce leaders to the core principles on which they can build lasting ministries that faithfully and effectively administer these relationships.
